"I will be vising my hometown during that time" - Is it grammatically correct to say?

Suppose I have to apply for a leave application and send a mail to the manager requesting the same. I have to provide a reason as well. So, can I write the below sentence as a reason. I mean is it grammatically correct? Since I visit some place one time, not continuously, but still I have to use a future continuous tense here since i didn't see any other better option to express it. "I would like to take leave from 11th Oct, 2013 to 18th Oct, 2013, since I will be vising my hometown during that time" - So, teachers please explain whether this articulation is grammatically correct or not? or there are other better ways to express it.

Correct. There is no contradiction because the use of the continuous tense will be visiting indicates activity during a period of time.
