I went for a swim yesterday happy/happily

a. I went for a swim yesterday happy.
b. I went for a swim yesterday happily.
c. I went happily for a swim yesterday.

Are all of them acceptable? or which sentence sounds more natural?

Thanks!

1. I left the room angry.
2. She sat there helpless.

Why are 1. and 2. natural sentences, but I went for a swim yesterday happy is not a natural sentence?
