I WANT YOUR HELP(About KING LEAR)

Imagine that there is a king at the same time the king is a father who has three girl.The king is getting older and know that he'll die one day and want to divide his country(in the aim of leaving property for his daughters).He decides to divide the country relating to the love felt by his each daughter.And he calls them.First daugther says he loves the king much more everything when king heard this he got delightful and gives his one part of kingdom to first girl.The second girl says the same(i love you more than anything) and king gives one part to second girl.But last daughter who is loved more by the king does sth suprising for the king she says she loves his father just beacuse it is her duty after being heard this words king gets angry and send the last girl to the France other part of the country is divided by the first two girl.

Before dividing the kingdom the king takes a promise from his daughters who inherit the property ,the king would stay at his daughters home The daughters would look after their father,the king.But it doesnt happen so ,after taking their piece from the property girls change and they behave their father cruelly,they dont want him and at the end king goes mad.

but the girl who the father sent away and didn't give any piece ,comes and save her father

i have a homework i must find some proverbs(word of wisdoms) which suits this story.
the help wich came from the last girl is unhopefull you can see.

it is king lear but i cut out a lot of parts even i told the story please help me

Very nice summary of King Lear, Anon-- the Lambs hardly did better. Here are a couple of proverbs: Sharper than a serpent's tooth is a thankless child. Don't count your chickens before they hatch .

I was going to suggest How sharper than a serpent's tooth it is to have a thankless child...but, of course, that's actually from King Lear. Shakespeare says everything best!

How about Every kingdom divided against itself will be ruined (The Bible, Matthew 12:25-26)
