Letter Writing
I want to resign and ask for my money that they owe me...
I have a few questions. A problems actually.
My current company have a bad problem with their cash flow. Consequently, we didn’t receive any salary since a couple of months ago and only half of it for August. I already got offer from another company and want to ask your advice. Below is my resignation letter. Do you think I should ask them to pay their debt to me inside this letter? if yes, how to ask them?
Before this, they promise to pay our salary. Unfortunately, the only thing that they know is to give fake promise. And now I want to claim my money back. Here is the letter

Resignation Notice
I hereby wish to tender my resignation as Consultant for My Poor Companty, with effect from 1 January 2008
As per the required 1 week advance notice I would appreciate if you could inform me on my last working day after having deducted my annual leave entitlement. I wish to thank the company and staffs for all the opportunities provided in my professional and career development during my tenure.

Hi,
I assume that the terms of your employment specify that they are entitled to subtract the cost of your leave.
In my experience, this would normally only be done if the employee has taken leave in advance that he has not yet been earned based on his length of employment.
