I want to reply the following email, I would really appreciate it if anybody could say her/his opinion about it.
I hope all is well. In regard to Mr. D., since he did not
approach me yet, my assumption is that he did talk with somebody else from your school, which is TOTALLY OK with me. If my assumtpion is not true, then I do expect to receive his request no later than this afternoon at 5PM (otherwise simply discard what I told you about the acceptance of his supervision).
