Hello.
For a change, this time I would like to double-check a very basic subject instead of asking about some fancy words that hardly anyone knows:)
1) I want to pay for this with my credit card.
2) I want to pay for this by credit card.
3) I want to pay for this via credit card.
Are the above sentences correct and interchangeable?
Can we use 'via' also for cash and money transfers?
(1) and (2) are fine. (3) is less desirable in my opinion, though no doubt it is sometimes used, and it is perfectly intelligible. We pay by or with cash.

We pay by or with cash. We do not pay via cash.
