Vocabulary

I want to further my education.

Hi

Is the use of "further" natural here? Could you offer me a better word?

I want to further my education.

Thanks,

Tom

PS: If the word is "qualification", which "verb" would be most suitable for the same content as above?

I want to ___________________ my qualification.

My teacher told me, that it is possible to use "further" in the first sentence. In connection with the second sentence I would use: "improve" word, so it would look like that: I want to improve my qualifications.

Qualification is a count noun. Education and experience are non-count.
