I want to better my French.

Hi

Is this sentence completely natural -- I mean, "better" as verb.

In the summer holidays, I want to better my French.

Thanks,

Tom

Hi Tom, Yes, using better as you have is absolutely correct. However, I would say: During (or over) the summer holidays, I want to better my French. Hope this helps.
