I want to ask again

There is a sentence

“I know absolutely nothing about ….”

“nothing” is the pronoun. Pronoun is using as a noun in the sentence.
“absolutely” is the adverb.

I can’t find WHY using “absolutely” (adverb), not “absolute” (adjective)?
Please, tell me the rule WHY

Actually, I am surprised to see that anything/something/nothing are considered pronouns in any situation, but I suppose that they look like 'anyone/someone/no one'...even though 'one' is a pronoun while 'thing' is certainly not.

Anyway, I guess we must presume that 'absolutely' as an adverb modifies the whole sentence: 'Absolutely, I know nothing about...'

So

Do you think "nothing" is adverb in that sentence?

I just want to understand what is "nothing" - pronoun, noun or adverb in that sentence?

No.

These are compound words, consisting of a word that is an adjective, and another word that is a noun.

no + thing = nothing
any + thing
every+ thing

Now, because the first word is an adjective, it is natural to modify it with an adverb:

I know absolutely n

I think absolutely is connected with the verb "Know" that is why it is adverb,it has no connection with the pronoun "nothing"

One more question

Why is "absolute" (adjective) in the sentence

"He is an absolute nothing"

Absolutely is a degree adverb.(absolutely, completely, totally, extremely, very, quite, rather…)
A degree adverb is using before verb in sentence.

Ex: We absolutely love her sense of humor/

So, "absolutely" is linked to "nothing" ...I think so...
