I want to ask a question to Jennifer.

1. I want to ask a question to Jennifer.
2. I want to ask a question of Jennifer.
3. I want to ask Jennifer a question.

Hello,
I know that 2 and 3 are correct but what about 1? Is 1 correct to you?
Today my friend told me that 1 is also correct. I couldn't believe it because "to" is odd there.
What's your opinion?

Only 3 is correct.

No 2 is also correct, if rather formal. No 1 is not natural.
