I vs Me

Which one of this is correct?

a)
When the team left Dan and I up there, we all agreed, "There's no debate, it's settled; we're not taking the film crew up this mountain. There's no way they can climb this."

-or-

b)
When the team left Dan and me up there, we all agreed, "There's no debate, it's settled; we're not taking the film crew up this mountain. There's no way they can climb this."

Top answer

b) is correct. The simple rule to follow is to eliminate all but the first person from the sentence to see which is correct. If we eliminate Dan we are left with: "The team left I" and "The team left me" from that you can see which is correct.
