I use my computer not very often

To change the subject. Is it a mistake to say "I use my computer not very often" instead of "I don't use my computer often" or "I use my computer seldom"?

It's not grammatical, but I think it could be heard in some conversation:

A: "I use my computer all the time"

B: "I use my computer at least 10 hours a day"

C: "I use my computer ... not very often..."

Not very likely, though...
