I was reading an article about "England World Cup - Player Ratings" and I found this sentence:
Henderson's performances at this World Cup have surprised me as I thought we was going to be exploited more in the central midfield role ...
At first I thought it was an error of the writer to use was instead of were, so I checked the sentence "I thought we was going to be" on the Internet. Much to my surprise, I found 49 results.
My question: Is it correct to use we was in these cases?
'We was' is not correct. You may well hear it in non-standard dialects.

It is a typo. It should be: I thought he was going to be exploited...
