I thought they weren't coming

Hello,

I have the following questions,

Let's say that all of my supervisors at work were not going to be in the office next Monday, and when Monday arrived, there is one supervisor in the office, then I say to one of my co-workers,

1 - I thought none of the supervisors were coming to the office today.

2 - I thought none of the supervisors would come to the office today.

I have one more situation. lets say I made breakfast for my sister, but she is in a rush and she might no be able to eat it; then I say to her,

1 - I thought you wanted to eat something.

2 - I thought you would want to eat something.

If you can please let me know which one sounds better and if setences #2 are both correct.

Thank you.

Either sentence is correct in both cases. The first sentence of the first two is in the subjunctive and the 2nd in the conditional, but both indicate that you had held a previous belief that no supervisor planned to be at work on Monday, and had noted that one did come in to work. In the 2nd situation, there is a slight nuance in the meaning of the timing.
