The first sentence of the first two is in the subjunctive and the 2nd in the conditional, but both indicate that you had held a previous belief that no supervisor planned to be at work on Monday, and had noted that one did come in to work. In the 2nd situation, there is a slight nuance in the meaning of the timing.
