I think it would be common.

Suppose I ask someone if a particular sentence is common or natural in English and they reply:

1) I think it would be common.

2) I think it would be natural.

Q: Are the two "would"s conditional?

My definition of "conditional would " is very strict. It has to be in an if -clause. By that definition, no, those are not conditional would s.
