When some ask me what is it pointing a food but I'm also not aware whether its a food or something else but I believe its a food, so I can tell 'I thinks, its a food'. But confused the above 6 variations. Which is correct?
Note: food could from some other country food and looks so weird, and that's is reason, I think it looks a food but not exactly sure.

I think [that] it’s food. (no comma)

Though not wrong, some would not be very natural there, and no article should be used before food unless it is used as a modifier, e.g., a food processor.

None of them should have a comma (,) after "think" but other than that they all make sense. 1) or 2) would be the most likely choices. "It's" is a shortened form of "it is", so "it's" would be the one more likely to be used when speaking to someone during a casual conversation like this. 4) should have an apostrophe (') in "it's". "Its" without an apostrophe means "belonging to it".

If I were looking at a mushroom-like fungus in the forest, Id be more likely to say, "I think it's edible".
