A guy has been kicked out by his girlfriend and is now living in an RV. He has been living in it for a week. Two friends of his visit him in the RV and talk about him while he's not there.
Friend 1: (concerned) He shouldn't be living in an RV.
Friend 2: This thing is about three times the size of your apartment. I think he's going to be OK.
How would you phrase the bold-face sentence if Friend 2 is making fun of Friend 1's concern? In my language you would probably say "I think he makes it" if I were to translate it, but what would work in English - the "be OK" version? And is the future tense to be prefered?
Thanks.
anonymous I think he's going to be OK. This is fine. The future is also fine ( I think he'll be OK ).

With the right tone of voice, what you wrote is OK.
Also,
I doubt [he's going to / he'll] fe
