I think "autoimmune diseases " is "autoimmune disorders", so why repeat?

In the context below, I think "Particular infections and autoimmune diseases " means "Particular infections and particular autoimmune diseases ." Am I on the right track?

Context:

Particular infections and autoimmune diseases are found in specific association in immunodeficient conditions, rather than a random occurrence of infections or autoimmune disorders
