I shouldn't have

Hi

A certain teacher went to an interview. She tells the interviewer that she didn't take her references with her, she didn't ask her current Head about it because if something didn't work out she would have to come back to her old job, having made plain before that she wanted to get away. At the end she adds: Well, I shouldn't have liked it much.

Does it just mean: I wouldn't have liked it much (to come back to the old school)?

Does "should" here mean the same as "would"?

Does "should" here mean the same as "would"? Apparently so. AFAIK, should can be used instead of would in the first person (I, we).
