I should say the word with the sound

Listen carefully to hear the difference.
For each example, I should say the word with the sound [v] first , "very, berry vet , bet ....."

Question
I want to know if ' I should say the word' is a correct sentence .
If it's correct, what is the meaning of 'should' in the sentence?

That's my transcript after hearing British English.
It sounded like 'should' when I heard her voice..
Is it impossible to use 'should'?

You could use it this way:

So, when I do this lesson, I should say the word that starts with the V sound first, right? I should say "vet" before "bet" and so on.

This shows that it's what you are expected/obligated to do to make the lesson work. This use is asking for confirmation that it's what you "should" do.
