Could I know in what circumstances should a person say:

2. I should hope so

Are the following sentences correct?

1. I hope you get well.

2. I hope she get well.

Could I know Can you tell me in what circumstances should a person say:

1. I hope so The normal way of expressing a hope about something that has already been mentioned. eg

A: Will you be able to come to the party tonight?

B: I hope so.

2. I should hope so

This shows a bit more attitude. eg

A: Tom is an honest
