I send or I am sending?

Hello,

Very often when I'm writing an e-mail, I need to indicate that something (not necessarily an attachment) is being sent with it.

In such cases I write: "I am sending you the requested information..." Is it correct, or I should use "I send" and not the present continuous tense?

Top answer

I am curious as to how you can send something with an email other than as an attachment. However, use ' I am sending '.

Good Day ,

Regarding your question ,

You could say ( I am sending you the information that you requested ) this would be better .

Cheers

Great post. Thanks for helping us.

I have one more question.

I am sending the details you required. Is this correct.

Yes, but more likely the response would be:

I am sending the details you requested.
I am sending the details you require.
