How about this logic. Simply absurd?

a. He was to go.

I heard that he was to go.

I heard him to go.

b. She is to come.

I can see that she is to come.

I can see her to come.

c. I saw her about to go.

I saw her ready to go.

I saw her sure to go.

I saw her to go.

PS: I am sorry to post this many times, but whenever I posted, it appeared as if I never used any ENTER keys, all the words appearing without proper space.
