"I remember I used to be quite restless several times."

Hi all

Could you please comment on the second sentence? It sounds a bit off to me. I want to say that there were several times when I was quite restless during the sermons. Thank you.

"I pay a lot of attention to his sermons now. I remember I used to be quite restless several times."

Thank you.
