I really want to know if this sentence is correct about 'mention'

I saw this sentence "What is NOT mentioned about Merino wool?"

In the sentence, is mention voice? be+p,p,?? or adjective?

I am confused.. 'mention' which I know is a transitive verb..
why?.. mention about??

It is passive voice: 'What is not mentioned [by the writer] about...?' So, 'what' is the 'object' of 'mentioned', so to speak.
