I or me

Hello, english forums.

which one is correct: "come play with jon and i" or "come play with jon and me"

these can both be written in an alternate way: "come play with me and jon" or "come play with i and jon"

I ask this because i got into an argument with a group of people who think "jon and i" is correct in this context. It saddens me that they actually think they're right. I've tried explaining why my version is correct, but have failed. Apparently, you can't rationalize with ignoramuses.

  • The standard, correct way is " C ome play with J on and me".
  • You say, "Play with me", not "Play with I", and putting Jon into the picture doesn't change anything.
