I or me?

If I have a picture of myself with a friend, would it be correct to say "This is a picture of me and my friend." or "This is a picture of my friend and I."?

It's become acceptable in contemporary spoken English to say, "...me and my friend."

But I'm one of those who still use, "...my friend and I."

If you say this is a picture OF, then use me. For some reason, we tend to say "of my friend and me" not "of me and my friend," but either one is perfectly grammatical.
