My opinion:

Both are correct.

But the first sentence is used in formal writting, while the second usually in oral expression or in informal situation.

You will not find a closer match for the Network Administrator position than I.

I prefer your first sentence as you could rewrite it as: You will not find a closer match for the Network Administrator position than I am.

The problem with using I is that you get another possible interpretation of the sentence:

You will not find a closer match for the Network Administrator position than I will/can.

Your question reminds me of an example I once saw in a grammar book.
Compare these two sentences:
Mr Pettigrew likes his secretary more than his wife.
Mr Pettigrew likes his secretary more than his wife does.
As you certainly notice these two sentences may have two different meanings '(or just the same, depending on the way yopu loook at it)

me because is in the position of an object
