Hello everyone, I'm writing this letter to apply for student research program. So, could you please correct the mistakes in this letter.

To whom it may concern,

I'm a second year medical student at XXX University in Saudi Arabia. I have got a fine basic knowledge in biology & medicine through my college. Also, in the last summer I joined undergraduate research summer program.
I would like to apply for IFMSA Research Exchange Program because that would give me with a perfect opportunity to develop my research skills and to gain background necessary for a future in the field of scientific research.
Actually, I interest in this research idea "XXX". So; I hope to be a member in your ambitious team to work in challenging research environment and to be involved in laboratory biochemical project. Also, it's very interesting to participate in such programs to meet with the professional medical researchers.
