I need your help with the sentence

Hi everybody!

I’m writing a report for our foreign partners. It is mostly about legal procedures so I need your expert opinion here. Does the following sentence make sense?

Neither the contract in question was extended, nor was a new contract with the manufacturer (or with dealers of WesternGego Seismic Holdings Limited) concluded, i.e. with no right to use Omega software, the company had no legal ground for concluding the Omega Software Maintenance Agreement.

Thanks in advance

Neither was the contract in question extended, nor was a new contract with the manufacturer (or with the negotiators for Western Geco Seismic Holdings Limited) concluded ; therefore, with no right to use Omega software, the company had no legal grounds for concluding the Omega Software Maintenance Agreement.
