I need your help with "nouns" and their types, please

Hi there teachers, 

Would you please tell me about the kinds of nouns we have in English? How many types of nouns do we have in English, please?

I don't know what you mean by "types."
There are different classifications of nouns: proper noun (proper names) and common nouns; concrete versus abstract; count versus non-count, compound versus simple, and (for declination) regular versus irregular.

Nouns can also be classified by their etymology such as Latinate (those which were taken from Latin roots). Some nouns used in English
