Essay & Composition Writing

I need your help please

These are two questions for my Economic Development class. Would you please help me answer in an attractive way and grammatically correct? Thank you very much for your help.

  1. What is the most important issue facing your community (city/county) that you wish to address? Be very specific.
One of the most important issues facing our community is lack of employment opportunity. We have well over 13,000 citizens, but approximately 2,300 jobs in the City. In addition, the city has a significant number of vacant commercial and office spaces, and lands available. Downtown of Powder Springs has approximately 30% of vacant spaces and is too deemed and lack of services to support our rising population. We have numbers of teen standing on the streets and many of our residents have to drive too far to work and shop.
  1. What is the most important issue facing your region that you wish to address? Be very specific.
One of the most important issues facing our region is transportation. Commuter options are very limited. Vehicles on roadway increases at a higher rate while there is no expansion of lanes. Congested roadways have major impact on residents’ daily commute and our environment. The number of vehicles on highways also results in increasing in fuel usage, stress and air pollution.

Top answer

My two cents: Talk about the size of the civilian workforce instead of "citizens". You may simply have a lot of retired "citizens" not looking for work. You mentioned 2,300 jobs.
