There are many ways to travel from one place to another place. However, there are some similarities about transportation between Asian and Western countries, and there are also many differences between them. The transportation systems in Australia and Vietnam have the same vehicles such as buses, trains, cars, bicycles and motorbikes. There are many differences between schedules and the types of tickets between trains and buses, and the popularity of cars and motorbikes in those countries.

In Vietnam, they have the system of buses, taxi services and bicycles. For example, tourists who want to get into the cities or get around a particular area; public transport in Vietnam is a great choice. Vietnamese buses in some cities are used by both local and foreign tourists. As a result, tourists will understand local people and life in a city. Taxies are another vehicles of public transport in Vietnam. It is so easy to travel by taxi, but you need to call a taxi service, or you can wave your hand if there is a taxi on the road. Bicycles are a common vehicle, which can be seen everywhere in Vietnam. Furthermore, bicycles are useful, efficient and convenient, so people can do exercise or travel around some areas.

Transportation in Australia also has the bus system, taxies and bicycles. Like Vietnam, you must stand at a bus stop to get a bus. Travelling on the bus is a good way to know local life in a city, and you can see some beautiful places around the city. Australia taxies are a popular vehicle to travel a short distance. As in Vietnam, you can just call a taxi, or you wave your hand up and down when you’re standing on the road. In addition, bicycles in Australia are used for relaxing after working or workout for your health.

There are many differences between the popularity of cars and motorbikes, and a type of tickets and times of buses and trains. Cars in Vietnam are not as popular as motorbikes. The majority of people in Vietnam have one or two motorbikes in their house. Because the tax on cars in Vietnam is very high, most people can’t afford a car. The bus system has no the schedule, bus staffs just put it in the main station. Moreover, people who board a bus have to buy a paper ticket for one trip. The buses just operate until 6p.m., and the trains in Vietnam operate from North to South over night or during the day.

In contrast to transportation in Vietnam, there are some differences between cars and motorbikes, the types of tickets and times of buses and trains in Australia. Opposite to Vietnam, cars in Australia are more popular than motorbikes. Most people use cars to drive to work daily. Buses in Australia have a timetable, which can be checked at the bus station. In addition, passengers just buy the card and deposit money to it and travel around the city. They are also able to use the card for travelling on the trains. Both buses and trains in Australia operate until midnight.

In conclusion, there are some similarities between the bus system and other vehicles such as trains, cars and bicycles. Also, two countries have many differences between the schedules and tickets in trains and buses, and the popularity of cars and motorbikes in Vietnam and Australia. In my opinion, I think there are some similarities and differences between transportation in Vietnam and Australia, because Vietnam is a developing country, and Australia is a rich country, so transportation in those countries is different too.
