I need your help a lot with these sentences I find hard

Could you please help me correct these sentences I'm not sure of?

1 For him to still be playing means that he's won, and that really happens.
2 Water splashed around the inside part of the sink as the water was on too weak.
3 You said he would never give people his real name for fear that they might want to hurt him.
4 These rates are the most common applied rated/most common rates applied.
5 You can't be as/that mean from now on.
6 (By) Looking at her name you knew she was old.
