I need to write an opinion about my last essay I wrote.

I need to evaluate the issue or what ever and write a conclusion about how this could have been prevented/ should be prevented, etc. PS: I am done yet!! Once i am done, I want someone to correct my grammar.^^



We know that people die every day, but not in a horrible way like this huge explosion that happened in West Virginia Mine. If people die from a huge explosion, etc. People will be shocked by this horrible scene. Mining job should be considered a high rate of chances for a bad accident which can cause death. There are no jobs around so people are forced by themselves to work at a mine company. The explosion seems to always be caused by methane gas. When this explosion happens, nobody in the mine will survive. I think they need to focus on this methane gas because it is deadly. I think they shouldn’t allow mine until they improve safety significantly.

Explosion isn’t normal, but unexpected! There’s no way to prevent an explosion because it is unexpected. However, as for mining, people should know that an explosion is possible if they are not very careful, so it is not rare for an explosion in mine. This happened many times before, why they still mine? I assume people work there for money because it is not easy to find a job nowadays due to the economy. But if it was me, I would live with a family rather than mining.



Methane gas produced in the ages of carbonization of organic matter in contact with oxygen. Thus, an explosion may be expected when in contact with a spark or flame during drilling is the usual cause. Perhaps this issue can be prevented, but I assume nobody knows yet. All I know is that it is very dangerous to mine and this has to stop until they find out how to stop the methane gas from producing.

This could have been prevented if they checked if everything was in condition even though it never looks like in good condition. In my opinion, a professional person should check if it is safe to work; just because this mining place have been safe for years, it does not need to be checked often? Sadly, it was safe until that day, but I am sure it was preventable. The President Obama shouldn’t allow people to mine until it is safe because he gave a speech saying that to make sure that this does not happen again.
