I need to write an e-mail to a professor, can you help me

I need to write in english an e-mail to a professor from an university, but english is not my mother tongue. I writed one above so I need help if it is gramatically correct and polite, like an email to a professor need to be. Thank you!

My name is Lauren, I am a Master's degree student from University of Buenos Aires under supervision of Professor Antonieta (included in this e-mail). As she has already told you, I'm going to apply for a PhD selection process, and we would be very honored if you could be my co-supervisor. For this, I need to present to the Post Graduation Comittee your letter written to the coordinator of my postgraduation program (Security Analysis), Professor Mary Rosa, requesting accreditation and explaining briefly how you can complement my doctoral project.
