I need suggestion:)

Dear all lovely guys & gurls..........

I'm working on a content for a birthday invitation card and i would like to attach a reply card on it too.

I'm not sure how should i write the topic for the reply card to make it sounds polite and with respectful when asking whether or not they coming for the party.

I have three suggestions here:

1. The favor of your reply is requested . Please kindly reply me on or before 31 June 2006

2. The courtesy of a reply is requested before 31 June 2006.

3. Please kindly response before 31 June 2006.

Could anyone help make up my mind. I would like to hear your suggestions on this as well.

Thanks. Arigato.

"The favor of a reply is requested" is very formal. You would write it as The favor of a response is requested by 31 June 2006. 2 is also fine, but also formal.

  • For 3, choose either please or kindly , but not both.
  • " Also, sometimes, you say "Regrets only" which means you assume the is coming unless he or she calls to say otherwise.

We use RSVP for most parties, initials for the French phrase that says "Please respond." Even though the SVP in RSVP is please, we still tend to
