Compare and Contrast “The Odyssey” and “O Brother, Where Art Tho”
Sing to me Oh muse, the story of the man with great sorrow. The roads he travels and all the things he has learned. A hero may finish the journey, but a wise man knows the troubles he has endeavored. The book The Odyssey by Homer and the movie O Brother, Where Art Thou are both epic stories. Although O Bother, Where Art Thou is quite different then The Odyssey by Homer with a modern twist meaning they are in two different time periods. They were both fairly similar while hitting some same points such as the epic conventions, and the characters.
