In this case, "Cool Science for curious kids" is an excellent website where children of all age can learn the fundamental of general science all in a click of a button. The best thing about this site is that it was created by Howard Hughes Medical Institute which means that this site is a good site for kids because this site offers both online and offline science for children of all ages. This site is suitable for elementary and middle school kids. Cool science is a website where children who are curious about where and how stuff is made and where it comes from can be able to explore the things that they never knew before; they will be able to do it in this interactive website. In other words, this site is always up to date and the information that it provides are very accurate. These sites have a lot of hands on activities where children can explore many things that they have never explored before. There are many interactive activities such as mix and match. They are able to choose the corresponding correct answer. Many of the hand on activities involves a lot of multiple choice question which are very easy for children to understand because for some multiple questions they have sounds that if they were to get it wrong it will make a sound saying that you got it wrong. This site is very enjoyable because it provides a lot of hands on activities, but it does not have any games because this web site is devoted to learning, meaning there are no games involved. The best thing about this site is that their goal of this project is simple: to help your child appreciate science. They looked at some of the best science projects from some of the best museums in the country and they adapted them for the site. Some of these activities are entirely electronic. The children will do everything on screen. While others require the children to go to collect things from the kitchen or even the backyard, that’s why this site it very interactive, because it allow them to explore things they have never explored before. Therefore, the goal of this interactive website is to make science fun, practical, and realistic.

Furthermore, many children today have homework that requires doing online research, which in some cases requires them to go onto Google to search for their topic, but what they don’t know is that the link that they are about to click can take them to a website that is inappropriate and can lead themselves into websites that are not meant to be seen by children. Well, not if they have appropriate website where they can avoid the inappropriate websites known as finding data on the Internet. This site is accurate and it is all up to date. In this site there are many categories that children can choose from. For example: Agricultures, Economics, People, Health, Languages and the list goes on. The site itself is not interactive it is just plain and simple. There are no hands-on activities such as game. The site itself can be boring to look at, but this site is known for finding data. So why would they have interactive activities? This site is meant to be used by elementary and middle school children. The best thing about this site is that it allows children to look up data easily because has already been categorized in alphabetical order. If a child wants to find data on the U.S laws, they would click on the category politic and law, which will take them to the appropriate website where on some occasions there might be interactive activities for kids. This site is meant for children to do their research with ease without having to search for data on Google that could sometime take them to site that they are not suppose to go on. The site was created by Robert Niles; he has worked as an Internet editor for top newspapers, the Rocky Mountain News Denver and the Los Angeles Times, where he also wrote columns and reviews as a staff writer for the paper's Business and Calendar sections before opening many websites that he had created. The goal of this website is to help children search for data in a safe way, instead of using different search engine tools that sometimes will take them to a wrong place.
