Letter Writing

I need some help with a letter to my Manger

I have to apply in writing for a contract available in store and I've drafted the following:

Address.
Address,
Adress,

Date

Dear (Manager),

I am writing to you to apply for the contact available, as advertised in store.

In support of my application I am stockroom based and I am fully flexible.

I need help to see if the letter is ok to use or if it needs some correcting. Any help would be appreciated.

"I am stockroom based" implies that you live in a stockroom. (eg. I am based in Japan = I live in Japan.)

contact available - that makes no sense.

Perhaps you mean the "available position that was advertised in the store"
