0please and thank you. 02br 02br 00THIS IS THE COMPLAINT02br 02br 00Dear Sir/Madam,02br 02br 00I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with regard to the pool being out of action for the duration of our holiday, and the fact that no alternative arrangements were made to accommodate myself or my family.02br 02br 00When we arrived on Tuesday morning at 7.30am I discovered the pool had been drained of water and was being repaired. I and at least 50 other guests were not informed of this situation prior to departure. We were however told by the manager of the hotel that the work had commenced 7 days prior to our arrival. I would like to know why we were not offered alternative accommodation or even told about the matter.02br 02br 00I tried to find your representative to deal with this and no one seemed to be available. I can only assume that your representative ran for cover as there were many irate guests. When we did manage to locate her the young lady informed us that she would contact head office in the resort. The young lady was having problems contacting anyone to deal with the situation. Whilst waiting at reception I noticed that some tour companies were moving their guests to alternative accommodation. After waiting for 15 minutes your representative decided to go and get someone from the main office02br 02br 00Eventually someone did turn up at the welcome party (some welcome!) We were informed all other accommodation was full and it would not be possible for us to move to an alternate accommodation. We were also informed that the beach was only five minutes walk and would have to use the beach instead. This was an unacceptable outcome. We all filled out complaint forms which I am sure you have already received.02br 02br 00I usually travel with your company but have found your customer service on this occasion disappointing to say the least. I would appreciate it if you would look into this matter at your earliest convenience and let me know what the outcome will be with regard to compensating us for the inconvenience.02br 02br 00Yours faithfully,02br 02br 00Mr Arthur Lewis0-
