I need help with my undergraduate personal statement!

i'm applying for a university and they asked me to write why am i a good candidate for the uni..

i wrote so far:

I'm a good candidate because i know i do my best at things that i really like, and i'm a hard worker when i set my mind to it. I have just finished my high schol studies and I'm searching for a good college education, and AUB is the first university in the middle east that will guarantee me perfect education and will open new horizons in the future when searching for a job.





i think its very weak.. can u please tell me how can i improve it! and wat else can i add so that i get accepted!
