I need help with a sponsorship letter for a gym pass

This is my first time ever needing to write a sponsorship letter so I was hoping someone could provide me with a sample letter or some input. I am competing in an upcoming fitness competition and was hoping to get a local gym to sponsor me...it's my first competition so this is all new to me. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
