I need help with a riddles

Clue number one

In some cities there are towers everywhere.. not where we're thinking of. Where once there where hundreds there are now only a handful.


Clue number two

There's a place within this city that could certainly be described as 'old school'.


Clue number three

You may not know it, but this place has a dish named after it, you've probably tried it as well...
