I need help to check a children´s composition
Hi, I will appreciate if you help me to correct all the grammar and general mistakes in the following story.I can recognize some of them but not sure about everything. Thanks in advance:
In a hamlet of Africa lived a group of children. One day their parents ordered them to ring water.
On the path they met some people. This people gave them some sweets with sleping pills, but, they didn´t know and they took the sweets.
The children woke-up in a cave. The kidnappers ordered the children to work in the mine till nightfall.
Next day the kidnappers ordered a child to go to the hamlet to say to their parents that the kidnappers order a ranson. The child should go back, or, they kill a child. The families et depressed because they haven´t got this sum of money. While in the cave the children continue working.
In the hamlet the parents work double for can pay the ranson. The families send little a little the money. Only have a week and they have only the half of the money.
The families be money to the others hamlets but the families know that the others hamlets are as poor as they. But the hamlets of the outskirts collect money for can save the kids.
The days spend and the money didn’t come. The kidnappers kill a child.
