I need help please

Hello, I bought an apt under construction. Then I changed my mind, so I had to sign a cancelation deed to get a refund. Now I want to void the cancelation deed & continue with the payments to get the possession of my apt. I am asked to write a letter to them about the same. I am not sure what to write in it. Any ideas? Thanks much.

Hi,

It might be prudent to consider talking to a lawyer for advice about this matter, as it is a major purchase.

Best wishes, Clive

Of course! But continuance is easier to deal with than cancellation, so I think a lawyer, although is the safest bet, may be costing you a couple of Ben Franklin!

I'm with Clive on this one. Surely you have a lawyer friend or two you can quickly discuss the matter with (just to be on the safe side)?

Why did they need you to write a letter for?

For their legal purpose? For some explanation from you why you cancel and make the payment again?

What did they want you to put in the letter?

The builder wanted Joey to have a letter of intent so that whatever the intent was is recorded into the buyer’s file in case of dispute. As I said, cancellation involves deposit and forfeiture which is a rather large amount of money. In this case, it’s an intent of continuance of an apartment purcha
