I need help categorizing prepositional phrases?

So I was learning about prepositions today in class. I was not to sure if i had the idea down, so I wanted to ask if i was doing it right.

1)Sit in the seats near the podium with a microphone on it.

in the seats= adv phrase because sit WHERE near the podium adj phrase because WHICH seats

with a microphone adj phrase because WHICH podium

2) Some of the girls will not be chosen by the coach for this game. by the coach = adj phrase because by WHO

for this game= adj phrase for WHICH game

3) You and he had been expelled before my arrival, Don. before my arrival = adv phrase before WHEN

4) What did Ray then do with this pistol and that bloody cloth? with this pistol and that bloody cloth are both adj phrase because WHICH pistol and WHICH cloth or WHAT KIND of cloth

yeah if you dont get my WHICH WHEN or WHAT KIND approach, can you atleast tellme if i was correct?

Thank you, I appreciate all your answers !!!!

Hello, minikobe - and welcome to English Forums. I don't think your system works. I would say it this way and attain more accuracy: 1) Sit in the seats near the podium with a microphone on it.
