Do you need changing? (You ask to a child who need diaper-changing)
Is the following correct too, in the similar context?

onizo Do you need changing? That doesn't seem correct. I know that there are some "ing" forms which we use as nouns, but I don't think we can use 'changing' the way we can use, say, 'building', 'swimming', 'singing', etc.

That doesn't seem correct. I know that there are some "ing" forms which we use as nouns, but I don't think we can use 'changing' the way we can use, say, 'building', 'swimming', 'singing', etc. So, I'd rather say something like "Do you want mamma (or me) to change your diaper, baby?"
