I need a help to contact a professor before applying for master

Dear Dr.X,

My name is X and I graduated from the University of X with a BSc degree in Cell and Molecular biology .During my education in university ,I've found a passion for molecular biology and genetics and I like to do research and work in these fields.

I was really interested in the strategy you used for muscle regeneration in Muscular Dystrophy and therapies through the help of stem cells. In particular,I found it amazing that microRNAs can affect muscle stem cell behaviour.I would like to know about research opportunities to work with you.
