I miss you so much that it hurt sometimes??

I saw a page on facebook the other day and it was called "i miss you so much that it hurt sometimes"
shouldn't the verb be in its S-form "hurts"

Yes. The form without the s would only happen in the past tense.

I missed you so much that it hurt.
